Instructions

Review your list of occupations, then select your next step from the lists outlined in the Option 1 and Option 2 boxes below.

Option 1

You are not interested in the options so far.

  • Consider the new information you have gathered in information interviews. If you are not interested in any of the occupations researched so far, but have not exhausted all possibilities on your original list of occupations, review and select others of possible interest; then complete research on these occupations by returning to Part B of this activity.

Part B: Complete your occupational research


  • If you have exhausted all possibilities from your original list, consider other options generated through your research to date and complete research on these by returning to Part B: of this activity.

If you have exhausted all possibilities from your original list of occupations and cannot think of other occupations of interest, you may wish to revisit the Self assessment: the foundation and Conduct your self-assessment pages to review occupations. You may also wish to book an appointment for “Career exploration/decision making” through Centre for Career Action.

You are still interested in your researched occupations.

  • Proceed to Part F of this activity to choose three occupations. If you are still interested in one or more of your researched occupations.
