Activity Two A: What are you actually doing?

Activity Two A: What are you actually doing?

We don’t usually take the time to think about the discrete components that make up our process for countless tasks we do as graduate students, often because we are compartmentalizing our work differently into three larger categories. Thinking in the process-oriented way we saw in Activity One, make a list of different things you do as a graduate student across the categories of RESEARCH, TEACHING, and SERVICE below. While you do this, focus on action verbs that describe what you are doing (e.g., Design an Experiment, Develop a Lesson Plan, or Chair a Conference Committee Meeting).
