Activity Two B: Skills developed through my degree

In Activity Two A, you categorized tasks and activities according to how we measure success in academia—RESEARCH, TEACHING, and SERVICE. It is easy to dismiss the idea of skills as buzzwords that have nothing to do with you or the work you do. Skills are only as useful as the specific behaviours we can connect to them, to serve as evidence that we have them. Take another look at the lists of behaviours you’ve generated in Activity One and Activity Two A. Now take a look at the categories in the Skills Matrix below. What skill categories would you connect the behaviours to? You will find that some activities are evidence of multiple skills.
