On the job safety activity

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario has developed an online Health and Safety 101.

  1. Go to this safety e-course and complete all four modules.
  2. Return here and submit answers to the following 2 questions:

It is your first day on the job. Due to illness, you are being temporarily supervised by a manager from another department. While outlining your duties for the course of the day, she asks you to operate a specialized machine for which you have not had training. You have watched someone else operate it and think it can be done fairly easily. What do you do?

Explain what you would do if you were injured on the job.
